Hey, I’m Dima

I'm a senior product designer based in San Diego. I've been designing web and mobile products for startups and small teams since 2013. My work spans user experience, interface design, and design systems, including roles at Trustworthy, Ankr, and Mempools.

I enjoy building products from the ground up. I'm comfortable starting with a rough idea, exploring the problem and existing solutions, and working out how the product should work. I bring that thinking into user flows and interfaces, with close attention to how the experience feels to the person using it.

I've worked directly with founders and engineers, both as a founding designer and as part of a team. I stay involved through development, helping resolve questions as the design becomes a working product. I value straightforward communication and clear decisions.

UI and visual design are a big part of my work. I care about making products feel considered, consistent, and pleasant to use. For me, that means paying attention to the overall experience as well as the details, and building design systems that help those decisions carry through the product.
